The Mask Marie story begins in sunny Los Angeles, inspired by the vibrant energy of the city and a deep love for Korean skincare. Founded by two Korean-American moms, Silna Kim and Gloria Lee, both busy working moms long before they were business partners, we set out to make K-beauty feel like second nature, blending the thoughtfulness of Korean skincare with LA's easy, sun-kissed vibes.
Our mission is to make skincare simple, inclusive, and delightful, and to empower everyone to embrace self-care and skin that looks radiant and healthy. For us, that starts with consistency, the K-beauty way. But consistency only works if you understand what you're being consistent about, so we treat education as part of the job. Knowing your skin, understanding what ingredients actually do and don't do, and learning why K-beauty comes with routines the way it does, all of it is the foundation our shop is built on. That's why we don't just sell one thing. We curate a full range of K-beauty, tightly curated down to what actually works and is worth your time, while we share the why behind it along the way.
